ARLINGTON, Texas – Samanatha Glasier, a kindergarten teacher out of East Texas Elementary School, has recently made the decision to switch her hall pass from a rectangular block to a Magnum Desert Eagle Pistol.
“I just felt the kids needed something more than a wooden block, and allowing them to have a pistol in the halls should help give us some peace in mind that our children are safe when they’re at school,” said Glasier, a Texas native. “I took them on a class field trip to the shooting range and taught them the basics so that in the case of an intruder, they can defend themselves instead of running or hiding.”
The decision was fully supported by locals from around the town, including local trucker Billy Kipps, who exclaimed, “I think it’s a great thing for our schools, we’re finally lettin’ the good guys have the guns in the classroom. I’m fully confident those lil’ six-year-olds can point and shoot when the day comes, God bless ’em.”
However, kindergarten student Ben Howard seemed unsure about the decision. When asked how he felt about taking a gun to the bathroom, Howard proceeded to pick his nose and respond, “I like bikes, I also like the color red.”
An interesting perspective from the young one, but no matter the opinions here at East Texas, we do know one thing for certain: six-year-old kids are finally locked and loaded.
