A few weeks ago The Sun newspaper ran a story called “FLAKENSTEINS: Snowflake students claim Frankenstein’s monster was ‘misunderstood’ – and is in fact a VICTIM,” which is… actually a totally accurate interpretation of the novel.
But that’s not the first time a newspaper has tried to call students out for their literary criticism. Here are just a few more recent headlines about “snowflake students” correctly interpreting works of literature:
- Social Justice Worriers? Mini-Marxists claim the police had NO REASON for arresting Josef K.
- Call Me Snowflake. Loony lefties think Captain Ahab was WRONG to chase the white whale that took his leg. They say the Captain’s TOXIC MASCULINITY is the real villain of the story.
- Tiny Tim Wants a Giant Handout. Campus commies claim that Scrooge was wrong for trying to MAKE MONEY. They say he should provide FREE HEALTHCARE for his employees’ children instead.
- The Not-So-Great Gatsby? Socialist snowflakes think that successful businessman Jay Gatsby isn’t HAPPY even though he’s RICH.
- JANE-IACS. Fundamentalist Feminazis say that Mr. Rochester was WRONG to lock his first wife in his attic and not tell his EMPLOYEE about it.
- PC Puritans! Triggered troublemakers claim that Hester Prynne is no less GUILTY than respected religious leader Arthur Dimmesdale. We say the REAL scarlet letters are S, J, W.
