Dear Amazon, the labor conditions of your fulfillment centers and warehouses are absolutely horrible. Conditions that include twelve-hour shifts where employees are on their feet and firing workers who don’t package up items fast enough. Hell, your company’s forklift killed a worker.
But bad labor conditions aside, where is my package? I ordered it three days ago.
Three days ago I ordered one of your Amazon Alexas and because you make me pay $99 a year in order to get free two-day shipping, I expect my package to arrive in two days, not three. What’s taking so long, Mr. Bezos? Too busy cheating on your wife and sexting weird stuff like “I want to smell you?” You know what I want to smell, Jeff? My Amazon Alexa that will listen to me when I’m yelling at my TV, which uses an Amazon Fire TV Stick.
I’m having a hard time believing why it has taken this long for me to get my package knowing how hard your employees are working. In September 2019, a 48-year-old worker literally had a heart attack at your warehouse and died in front of his coworkers. After the ambulance took his body out of the warehouse, the managers told the employees to go right back to work. So tell me why these employees couldn’t package up an Amazon Alexa after they watched someone die? This is pretty much a normal occurrence because six people have died in your warehouses since November 2018.
If it’s not the warehouse workers responsible for this vile, malicious act, could it be the delivery drivers you employ? I’m thinking it’s possible the delivery drivers are too busy pissing in bottles that fill up the delivery fans in order to meet delivery time expectations and navigate the complex routes your company assigns them. It would be nice if they just held their urine in a little longer so they could drop off my package in two days! Sure, the package would arrive three houses over, but I would have gone over to pick it up from my neighbor’s doorstep. I’m not a monster.
Anyways, my order number is #113-7964152-7989523 and I expect a refund immediately so I can order this product again to continue this endless cycle.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Daniel Stillman
