Michael J. Fox is, and always will be, Marty McFly, but The Frighteners is a great example of a movie that showcases his non-McFly chops and makes you wonder of a later career that could have been.
Directed by Peter Jackson, this 1996 cult favorite features innovative CGI work, Jeffrey Combs doing wonderfully insane stuff, and a great cover of “Don’t Fear the Reaper”! If that doesn’t get you ready for spooky season, I don’t know what will.
