Some of you out there don’t want to count The Silence of the Lambs as a true horror movie, citing it more as a thriller, a procedural, or a mystery.
BUT TOO BAD, WE TALKED ABOUT IT ANYWAY.
There isn’t much scarier than Anthony Hopkins’ performance as forensic psychiatrist-turned-cannibal Hannibal Lecter, and the tension of Clarice Starling’s race against time to catch Buffalo Bill, combined with her final showdown with him in his labyrinthine basement, is more than enough horror for most people I’d say.
