Up On the Rooftop (Drip, Drip, Drip)
Up on the rooftop, a foot of snow-
You’re not used to seeing that at home.
Won’t you fix the power, Santa, please?
No, he’s off to Cancún to let you freeze.
No, no, no!
Who wouldn’t go!
No, no, no!
Who wouldn’t go!
Up from the ceiling, drip, drip, drip!
All your pipes have burst and
Your state’s inept.
Let It Snow (Please!)
Oh, the weather outside is temperate
And you couldn’t even tell that
December’s more than halfway through.
Please let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Oh, we’ll probably be kept waiting
Because the Dems are still debating
Whether the filibuster’s got to go
Before it’ll snow, it’ll snow, it’ll snow.
When it finally dips below
32° Fahrenheit,
We may actually get some snow
But it will all melt overnight.
Oh, the planet is quickly dying
And, my dear, I’m really trying
Not to give up all hope
That it’ll snow, it’ll snow, it’ll snow.
I Don’t Think It Looks Very Much Like Christmas
I don’t think it looks very much like Christmas
No matter where you go.
Take a look at the light displays looking so out of place
And seeming a little lonesome without some snow.
I don’t think it looks very much like Christmas,
Not much anymore.
It’s so warm there’s no mistake Santa has a massive lake
Outside his own front door.
Don’t You See What I See?
Said the people to their government
“Don’t you see what I see?”
Our planet’s in a predicament.
“Don’t you see what I see?”
Texas sees a sudden deep freeze,
And it’s balmy in the Midwest,
And it’s balmy in the Midwest!”
Said the people to their Congressmen
“Don’t you see what I see?
I don’t think you realize the extent.
“Don’t you see what I see?”
The West’s on fire, the rivers all dried up
As the South sinks in to the sea,
As the South sinks into the sea!
Crusty the Snowman
Crusty the Snowman
Looked as sad as he could be.
With a cigarette butt and a drink straw nose,
He was a sorry sight to see.
Crusty the Snowman
Was an indictment they did say;
He was made of mud because no one would
Address the threat of climate change.
Oh, I don’t think it was magic
In the plastic bag they used.
For when they crowned him with their trash,
He looked rather unamused.
Crusty the Snowman
Knew the sun was hot for sure.
His time was brief but he was happy to leave
The life with which he’d been cursed.
