First, we got The Mandalorian and his Mando pal’s show The Book of Boba Fett. Then came the eponymous series about the lesser-known Cassian Andor. And from the depths of the animated Clone Wars, Disney brought us Ahsoka. And The Bad Batch, and The Acolyte, and… the list goes on.
With Disney+ strip-mining the Star Wars universe like a Forty-niner, here are 10 more spinoffs that the streaming service could (but hopefully won’t) produce.
Tatooinevision Song Contest
Fresh off their reunion concert at the Mos Eisley Cantina, Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes face off against Jabba the Hutt’s Max Rebo and the Jizz Wailers in the Tatooinevision Song Contest final.
TK-421: You’re Fired
Getting fired for not being at his post was the best thing to ever happen to Stormtrooper TK-421. The new animated series kicks off as ex-TK-421 boards the Death Star employee shuttle just in time to witness the destruction of his former workplace from space.
Lobot: The AI Assistant
This limited series presents the backstory of Lobot. Long before he becomes Lando Calrissian’s cybernetic right-hand man, he makes ends meet by ghostwriting college application essays and answering customer service chats.
Monologuing with Mace
Set in the years before he joined the High Council, this series follows Jedi Master Mace Windu’s brief foray into acting, including his Jedi Knight Credit Union commercials on Coruscant+ that feature his famous catchphrase, “What’s in your robes?”
I Love Beru
At long last, Disney tries out the sitcom format in the Star Wars universe. Before becoming moisture farmers and adoptive parents of Luke Skywalker, Owen and Beru Lars headline a Mos Eisley cabaret band and enjoy hijinks with their Tusken Raider neighbors.
Jar Jar Binks, M.D.
The reboot that no one wanted. Sanitizing the character as only Disney can do, the studio presents an all-new Jar Jar, who trades slapstick for scrubs in a new medical drama set in Naboo Memorial.
B. Crumb
Laugh along with everyone’s least favorite Return of the Jedi puppet, Salacious B. Crumb, as the Kowakian monkey-lizard begins a new career as an underground cartoonist following the death of his former employer, Jabba the Hutt.
One-Armed Bandit
Losing an arm at the hands of a Jedi Knight might have inspired many thugs to mend their criminal ways, but not Ponda Baba. This episodic crime procedural follows the continuing exploits of the Aqualish pirate after his fateful meeting with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker in the Mos Eisley Cantina.
Keeping the Faith
Getting called out by a Sith Lord for a lack of faith was more than just a pain in the neck. After witnessing the destruction of the Death Star from an escape pod so soon after he called it “the ultimate power in the universe,” Admiral Conan Antonio Motti undergoes a conversion to the ways of the Force in this documentary-style series.
Trash Finds
Before her career washes up in the Death Star’s trash compactor, Omi the Dianoga garbage monster headlines a Coruscant+ reality TV series, where she appraises junkyard discoveries and proves that one one Dianoga’s trash is another’s treasure.
