Back in May of 2024, we sent a shockwave through the entire world of internet humor when we debuted our completely original character that isn’t based on anything, Legally Nondescript Paperclip Holder.
In the months since, the article has received dozens of views, leading us to believe we need to spend somewhere in the ballpark of $4,000 to hire a team of writers and artists to give him his own comic book. In fact, we believe this so much, that we already did it, and even went over-budget!
It’s all going to be worth it in the end as we are extremely confident this series is going to be the one that finally helps us breakthrough to the mainstream, sign a Netflix deal, and overtake our biggest rival in on the internet, Ebaum’s World.
With all that said, we’re extremely excited to showcase an extensive preview of the upcoming comic mini-series. This three-issue run is sure to be a real knockout for established fans of computer document themed heroes, and, who knows, maybe it’ll bring in a couple hundred thousand new fans as well. Read on for a look inside all three issues!
Issue One: The Book Report!
In this debut story, fifteen-year-old Kyle Maxwell has a book report due tomorrow, and just lost his license to a famous unnamed writing software. When he downloads a unique third party shareware software he finds in a pop-up on Newgrounds.com, he meets Legally Nondescript Paperclip Helper. Can the two of them finish his report before sunrise? Tune into this confusing first book to find out!
Issue 2: The Dark Web
In this seemingly brand new take on the character and what he does, Legally Nondescript Paperclip Helper speaks directly to the reader, like Deadpool! Our hero takes us on an exciting and informative journey through the web, teaching us about internet safety and showing how to properly vet links before clicking onto them.
Issue 3: Legally Nondescript Paperclip Destroyer inside Computer Hell
The stunning conclusion to the LNPH trilogy, picking up seconds after the end of issue two, where LNPH clicked on a link he thought would download a 720p copy of Titanic.
